In an initial meeting, our Landscape Architect will walk your project with you, offer experience and guidance, and translate your preferences into detailed concepts and construction drawings. You will see and understand what the results will be before we break ground.

For us, Landscape Architecture is a delicate balance of science and art. It is both innovative and personal. Blending grace, environmental sensitivity and unique features, it combines architectural vision with horticultural expertise to complement the way you live. Our projects stand apart from all others, simply take a few moments to view our projects page to experience Land Art. Although every project is unique, most of them follow the same order of events. Once you ask Land Art for design services, we meet with you to look over the property and establish the scope of your planned project. Then we draft a design proposal for your review. At this point, you decide whether to hire us. Upon accepting our proposal, we collect data from your house plans and surveys, and conduct a field survey of the site to make an inventory. Factors including available space, regional climate, microclimate, sun/shade exposure, code requirements, and anything else that may affect the design. All of these factors will be combined with your wish list, and our professional experience and artistic abilities to create your design. Once your conceptual design is completed, it will presented to you and your input will be integrated into the revised concept.

Upon acceptance of the final concept by the client, Land Art will prepare the construction documents required to complete the project. Upon completion of these documents, we will confirm that the pricing of the project is within your project budgetary guidelines, providing you with the final cost of construction in the form of a construction contract proposal. Upon the clients approval of our construction contract proposal, permitting and construction begins.

During the installation, the project Landscape Architect will visit your site on a regular frequency based upon stages of completion, providing you with reports informing you of the progress of your project. Because your Landscape Architect is also your Project Manager, you get personal attention and responsive action if changes become necessary. In skill and in service, we are committed to your satisfaction.
